North Colley Stands with Ukraine!
Shop, dine, support on Saturday, April 9th starting at 8:00 am, and support the humanitarian aid going to Ukraine. Like many of us, we have been watching the invasion of Ukraine by the Russian government. Innocent people are being killed, families ripped apart, people torn from their homes. They are in desperate need of help and on Saturday, April 9th, many North Colley restaurants, and businesses will do their part to help collect donations for the Tidewater Ukrainian School. The Tidewater Ukrainian School is a local organization coordinating centralized humanitarian aid. They have a warehouse at the border of Ukraine and Poland and people to deliver help. There is a list of items that can be donated on their website at http://tidewaterua.org.
Financial support can also be made with checks payable to Tidewater Ukrainian School for Support Ukraine Fundraiser or online via PayPal through tidewaterua@gmail.com.
The participating businesses in North Colley will have a donation box where checks can be deposited and some restaurants and businesses will be giving a portion of their sales to the fund.
